Sign up to transglot with your email address or a social sign-in; signing up gives you a login and an account on Free, with its welcome words.
Who this is for
Anyone new to transglot. Your login is yours: with it you can join several workspaces, each with its own role, and manage any account you are an Owner or Billing member of.
Before you start
If you were invited, sign up from the invitation link in your email, with the address it was sent to. An invitation can only be accepted by that address, and you then join the workspace or account that invited you instead of starting your own.
Steps
Go to the sign-up page.
Choose a social sign-in, or under Or sign up with email enter your Name and Email address.
Choose a Password, then repeat it in Confirm password.
Select Create account.
Open the confirmation email and confirm your address.
What happens next
You are signed in, and transglot creates an account for you on Free, which holds the plan, the card and the invoices for your workspaces. You are an Owner of that account. AI translation starts once you confirm your email address: until then the console reads "Confirm your email address to start translating."
Welcome words. Free comes with 100,000 welcome words, given once per person, in two parts:
25,000 arrive when you confirm your email address.
75,000 more arrive after you confirm a mobile number once. On your account's Plan & billing, an Owner selects Confirm a mobile number, chooses the Country, enters the Mobile number and selects Send the code. transglot sends a 6-digit code by text message; enter it under Code and select Confirm.
If you sign up with an address at an email relay or forwarding service, all 100,000 arrive after the phone check instead.
Each phone number unlocks welcome words once, and the code can only go to a mobile phone, not a landline or an internet phone number. An email address or a sign-in that has already received welcome words does not receive them again, so a new account starts on Free's 10,000 words a cycle. Free's words come back each cycle; welcome words do not.
If it doesn't work
If your workspace requires single sign-on, do not create a password login. Use your company's sign-in link instead, which sends you to your identity provider.
If the email address is already registered, sign in instead, or reset the password.
"We could not finish this sign-up": the sign-up needs a review. See "My sign-up was blocked".
"Waiting for a review. Translation within the Free plan works now." beside Welcome words: see "My welcome words are waiting".
"This number has already unlocked welcome words. Each number works once.": use another mobile number of your own.
If your country is not in the list, phone checks are not available there yet: "Not listed? Phone checks are not available in your country yet."
