Change the name and email address your teammates see.
Who this is for
Everyone, for their own account.
Steps
Open Settings, choose You, then Profile.
Edit Name: it is "Shown on your comments, assignments and activity."
Edit Email address if it has changed.
Save.
If you changed the address, confirm your password (or a passkey) when asked, then enter the new address again and save. Changing your name alone never asks for this.
What happens next
Your name updates everywhere it appears. Changing your email address means transglot needs to confirm the new one before it is used, and a warning goes to your old address so the person who holds it always finds out.
The password step is there because password resets are sent to the address on your account. Anyone who could move that address without knowing your password could take the account with it.
Your profile is yours, not a workspace's: one account can belong to several workspaces, and this is the same name and address in all of them.
If it doesn't work
If you change your email to one that already has a transglot account, the form refuses it.
If you signed in with Google, GitHub or your company directory and never set a password, choose "Sign out and reset your password" on the confirmation screen. That sends you a link so you can set one, then sign back in and try again.
If your workspace enforces single sign-on, your identity provider may be the source of truth for your name and email, in which case changes there flow here rather than the other way round.
