Keep translating after your account's included words run out, and pay per word up to a spend cap you set.
Who this is for
The Owners and Billing members of the account.
What happens next
Usage-based overage sits on the account's Usage page, and is off until you turn it on. The page describes it: "Words above the plan's allowance are charged at the overage rate, up to the spend cap, instead of pausing translation."
The included words belong to the account and are shared by every workspace in it, so the cap covers every workspace too.
Off: when the included words run out, translation stops in every workspace of the account until the words reset or the plan changes. Nothing beyond the plan is charged.
On: translation carries on past the included words and each word is charged, up to the Spend cap a cycle, in USD. At the cap translation beyond the included words pauses in every workspace, as it would with overage off, until the words reset or someone raises the cap.
Free and the open source plan do not sell words beyond the plan, and neither does a trial: during a trial, usage beyond the plan starts with the first paid cycle.
