Write or change one translation by hand, with the glossary, the memory and the length limit in view while you do it.
Who this is for
Translators and above. A translator scoped to particular languages can only edit the languages they were given.
Steps
Open the project's Editor.
Choose the language from the Target language picker.
Find the key: type into Search keys and text…, or filter down to the untranslated ones.
Select the translation cell for that row and type.
Save the cell.
What happens next
The row's State becomes Human edited. That state matters beyond bookkeeping: a translation you have edited or reviewed is never overwritten by AI afterwards.
The context panel keeps up as you type: Length counts your characters against the key's maximum, and Glossary shows the terms this string contains and what they must be translated as.
If it doesn't work
If the cell will not accept typing, you may not have permission to edit that language. A scoped translator sees the project but can only write in the locales they were assigned.
If the string has a maximum length, going over it is flagged; the counter turns to the error colour.
