Run a quality check

Check a project's translations for placeholder, plural, length, terminology and fluency problems.

Check a project's translations for placeholder, plural, length, terminology and fluency problems.

Who this is for

Developers, admins and owners on a plan that includes the quality features.

Steps

From the QA screen:

  1. Open the project's QA.

  2. Select Re-run checks.

From the editor, for the language you are working in:

  1. Open the Editor and choose the language.

  2. Select Run QA.

What happens next

The button reads Starting… or Checking quality… while the run gets going, and the run continues in the background. You can leave the page.

When it finishes, the QA screen's figures and matrix update, and each checked string carries its findings into the editor, where they appear under Quality findings in the context panel.

Findings do not change your translations. They tell you what to look at.

If it doesn't work

  • If the button is disabled, a run is already going.

  • If the quality features are not on your plan, the QA screen says so rather than offering a button that would fail.
