My import did not bring everything across

Usually the token could not see everything, or the run is still going; it continues in the background.

Who this is for

Anyone who has run a migration from Lokalise, Phrase or Crowdin.

What happens next

Is it still running? The import runs in the background and the page says so. A large project takes a while; the run reports how many keys it brought across when it finishes, and past runs are listed at the bottom of the import screen.

Could the token see everything? A read token scoped to some projects, or to some languages within a project, imports exactly what it can see. Check the token's scope in the tool you are leaving.

Did you expect a language that is not on the transglot project? The import brings translations for the languages it finds. Anything else needs the language adding first.

Are you looking at the right project? If you chose A new project in Import into, the content is in a newly created project, not in one you already had.

Are the translations there but marked oddly? Your prior translations land as real, human-authored strings: they are not treated as machine output. If a string looks untranslated, it was probably empty in the source tool too.
